Backyard Ormus Post #1
Trap Water & Plastic Foam by Michael Burbury
You will need:
1. A large empty coke bottle
2. A Magnet
3. Water
4. Cups
5. The measuring device?
6. A cat?
Let me start with the measuring device.
In my case, its a bit of wire shaped to hold a piece of plastic foam hanging by a thread of cotton. A picture is
below.
Thread cotton through the foam and attach to the wire stand. The plastic foam will need to be charged with static
electricity.
This is where the cat comes in:
Rub a piece of the plastic foam along the cats fur (the cat will love it) and then hold the statically charged foam
on your small dangling foam for the electron transfer. They will stick together and the charge should hold for a
few minutes. Charge the foam before measuring so you can see the foam being repelled by material that repells
static charges (IE: superconductive material repells all electrical charges).
Now, lets make some trap water.
Fill the coke bottle with some good water, place the magnet over the top with North side down and then swirl the
water until a vortex forms.
When there is about a cup of water left in the bottle turn it over, remove the magnet and pour into a cup.
Repeat the process until you fill enough cups that will fill another bottle. Then repeat the vortex with the magnet
one more pass so that you have a good separated charged water.
This is normal water:
This is the water after the process:
Notice how the plastic foam is repelled slightly.
The process is quite wasteful and a well made trap such as Barry described is significantly better, but this can be
done quickly and easilly.
As a final note, after all that swirling, which takes quite a bit of strength and energy on your own behalf, the
water is sweet and refreshing. Relaxing afterwards was awesome to say the least :)
