THE KEYS TO ABYDOS, THE KEYS TO THE PYRAMID

The best data we have is that the great pyramid dates anywhere from 3,500 BC to 10,500 BC. Nobody knows for sure.

Josephus, The Antiquities of the Jews,(pub. 70 AD) 1.2.69-71 wrote:

(Seth and his children)... They also were inventors of the peculiar sort of wisdom concerned with the heavenly bodies, and their order. (70) And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known, upon Adam's prediction that the world was to be destroyed at one time by the force of fire and at another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars; one of brick the other of stone: they inscribed their discoveries on them both, (71) that in case the pillar of brick should be destroyed by the flood, the pillar of stone might remain, and exhibit those discoveries to mankind; and also inform them that there was another pillar of brick erected by them. Now this remains in the land of Siriad to this day.
I suspect that following the flood that validated Adam's prediction, the remaining stone pillar so impressed the people following, that they decided to construct truly indestructable monuments which would warn the future of the coming destruction by fire, also predicted by Adam. The pyramid was one of these monuments to the end of time, which survives to our day. That is one very important purpose of the pyramid, and several others like it around the world. I will not now go deeply into this aspect of it.

I don't endorse the worship of Seti, Seth, Adam, Isis or Osirus, but I include these references to show that the Egyptians were familiar with the son of Adam who was Seth. Also I believe Abydos, Egypt is the place called the pit "abyss" throughout Revelation 9.

At the end, I'll be providing keys to these references:

Revelation 13:12-15
(12) the first beast whose deadly wound was healed
(14) image to the beast
(15) he had power to make the image of the beast speak

THE PYRAMIDS and THE MONUMENT OF SETH TO ADAM

Look carefully at the three great pyramids in Egypt and you will see messages written in a large indestructable parable. Compare the sphinx, the four limbs, the head on the top of the beast. The great pyramid is an abstract picture of the sphinx, and is a parable about mankind. The pyramid is like a human body: a beast with four corners and a peak. It has: eyes, head, heart, bones, and other aspects making it into a book in stone written about the nature of man upon the earth.

You'll notice that the peak of the pyramid is missing, just as when a person dies his spirit (intellect and personality) goes away. At the center where the emotions and the heart ought to be there is an empty box. Therefore, the pyramid represents a dead body. Its the right size for a human form to fit into. So its size and shape and central position invites man to put himself in that box, and to imagine that the pyramid was built for that individual man. We are told to call it the King's chamber, and then all of mankind are invited to come and imagine that he is King for a day. What it does is glorify and worship man, transform him into the likeness of the King who had the power to build this giant eternal monument. Does it work?

Next observe what happens in the present day.

The fame of the pyramid draws attention worldwide so that multitudes of people arrive in various ways and they line up so every one of them enters the King's chamber and are invited to lay down in the sarcophagus. That is a symbol for incarnation; spirit is given a body. The spirit is that of the mind and personality who designed the pyramid to put his thoughts into our bodies. The beast is the empty shell of the human body, the people visiting are symbolic of spirits passing through mortal existence.

The visitors line up and stare at the mute structure and each in stunned wonderment thinks: "What did the creator mean by this? None can know for sure." If they are permitted, many of them get into the sarcophagus and become one with the pyramid in their imaginations. Then they climb out after a little while, and another different person gets into the box and goes through the same experience. This is a parable of incarnation; spirit is given a body. What remains a constant with each changing body is the hidden heart, intellect and personality which is that of the pyramid designer. But they see the wonders of his majestic design and praise the builder who had the political and earthly power to accomplish it, whom they believe they cannot know, while they yearn to know him. With their sense of worshipful wonder they invite the spirit of the pyramid designer into their bodies. Thus, the pyramid designer obtains immortality upon the earth by putting his emotions and ideas into fresh earthly bodies.

Pyramid means "fire in the midst." The heart of the body is the fire in the middle. The king's chamber represents the heart.

Also there are two tubes leading out of the king's chamber. The northern tube points to where Regulus was 10,500 BC ago and serves as one part of the warning of the destruction by fire to come. The southern tunnel has a sight line to Orion.

The easiest and most natural to notice constellation is Orion: it looks like a man. It has 4 stars representing the arms and legs and three stars for the belt. Orion resembles a man obviously, even if one knows nothing about astronomy. The observation tube states clearly that whoever built the pyramid was exactly the same way: he looked into the night sky and his eye was naturally drawn to Orion, the image of a man in the heavens. The creator of the pryamid is like me and you. He says in an inscription that is too large to fail to notice, the resemblance between him and us. He also sees the man in the heavens. As above, so below.

The three pyramids align in a perfect copy of the three central stars of Orion. As above, so below.

Notice that the majority of stones are made of limestone, calcium carbonate: the same material in our teeth and bones. After +2000 years in the grave, all that is left of the body is teeth and bones. As below, so above. If you look closely at limestone you see shells cemented together with dust. The bones of sea creatures. So the body of the pyramid is like the bones and teeth, the skeleton of the physical body which houses a temporary heart and mind.

The fire in the midst is the heart and intellect: the emotions and the ideas which add up to the personality. But these are not a natural part of the body of bones and teeth, the heart and mind is a temporary visitor in the body like the long procession of visitors to the pyramid. The heart and mind travels from far away and spends a very short time in the body, and then leaves to return to his home to ponder whatever he may have learned. The pyramid was made as an empty vessel, just like the body is made as an empty vessel for the heart and intellect. As above, so below.

Consider the four levels of the parable. There is Orion, the heavenly form of man above the pyramids, which the creator goes to great effort leaving multiple signs relating them to each other. The two eyes of the pyramid gave a semblance that the pyramid, an ikon of man, regards and considers about the man in the heavens and to the beginning and end of time in two disasters. Then also the three pyramids imitate the arrangement of the three central stars of the belt of Orion, which is another way of indicating the parallels between the heavenly man and the pyramidal man. Sight tubes. Threes. As above, so below.

Threes. There are three aspects of mankind shown in the pyramids; the physical, the emotional, and the intellectual. There is one more aspect not in the pyramid, but requires the observer's participation: the spiritual.

  • Physical: bones: stones and dust in the sarcophagus
  • Emotional: the heart: fire in the midst
  • Intellectual: the missing peak: recognizing man's form in the stars and in the pyramid
  • Spiritual: recognizing and embodying the eternal nature of the mind which the Creator imparted to mankind many years ago, and today.
It is clear to me that Revelation Ch. 13 onwards refers to the pyramid and the builders of it who worshipped man, Kings and not God who created them.

I could use the following keys to interpret Revelation 13 extensively, but I will cut it short with only these few verses, by which I give the essential keys.

Briefly:

Revelation 13:12-15
(12) the first beast whose deadly wound was healed = Adam
(14) image (eikon) to the beast = the pyramid is an ikon to Adam
(15) he had power to make the image of the beast speak = he interpreted its Adams predictions (signs, semion), he also had power to make people build the pyramid and worship the beast (Adam.)

Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man (Adam); and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Adam's deadly wound inflicted by the sword was the 'deadly' separation from God. The separation was healed by Jesus Christ's crucifixion from John's point of view.

In these following verses "he" refers to the builder of the pyramids:

Rev. 13:13 And he doeth great (megas) wonders (semeion), so that he maketh fire (pur) come down from heaven on the earth in the sight (enopion, in the face) of men,

The great wonder "megas semeion" describes the starlight of Orion and Regulus that can be seen on the equinox through the sight tubes from the King's chamber. The sign of fire from heaven would literally land upon the face of men as they looked through the sight tubes on the equinoxes.

Rev. 13:14 And deceiveth (seduced) them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles (semeion) which he had power to do in the sight (enopion, in the face) of the beast (man = the beast); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image (eikon, any statue or monument: the pyramid) to the beast (Adam or by extension mankind), which had the wound by a sword (see Genesis 3:24 ), and did live.

Rev. 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

He had the ability to understand the spirit of the stone monument to Adam that Seth's children had built. So he persuaded and commanded the people of the land that they should worship the intent of the stone monument which was twofold: to glorify the predictions of Adam, and leave a monument for the future salvation of mankind at the end of time. And they should build a truly giant and eternal monument which would record the earlier stone monument built by Seth. He used violence against some to enforce his commandment. I haven't read any recorded history of the building of the pyramids, but this seems a highly probable scenario to me.

Genesis 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Rev. 13:14 "... and did live."

The seeming paradox created by God's commandment is that "on that day you shall surely die." But Adam and Eve did not die that day. The paradox is resolved when we understand that what happened that day was the definition of death: separation from God. So Adam did live in both senses, by not suffering a physical death, which John says plainly in Rev 13:14. More importantly, the deadly wound (separation) was healed by Jesus Christ's crucifixion from John's perspective.

Rev. 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

By "number" John meant the Hebrew idea of "sephiroth" (number, book, accounting, story, character, angel). So John is saying "man is a beast" and his beastly character is symbolized by the number "666."

There is spiritual significance to Biblical use of numbers. 6 is the number of man: man was created on the sixth day. There are three aspects to the man: emotional, intellectual and spiritual. When man has transcended his beastliness, his self-worship in all these ways, the 6 will become 7,8 or 9.

7 = perfection, fullness, maturity
8 = 7+1 rebirth, baptism into Christ's spirit
9 = 3*3 divinity = united with God

Love and blessings.
