Dieffenbachia Plant

Sometime in 2004 I was given a Dieffenbachia plant cutting. I put it in a pitcher of water, thinking that I would pot it one day. I put a bit of Miracle Grow in the water along with a drop or so of sea water precipitate. After at least a year of thinking that I was actually going to get around to potting the plant, I noticed that it was doing quite well in the pitcher of water so I took some pictures of it. I took this picture on March 17, 2005.

 

I still have not gotten around to potting this plant, so it has turned into sort of an experiment. I want to see how long it will last just being nourished by water, Miracle Grow and ORMUS. You can see another picture I took of this plant on August 13, 2008 at:

It likes the water so much that, in 2007, I put an aloe plant in with it. You can see the aloe in the last two pictures.
