Such a battery would fairly quickly end the use of petroleum for powering vehicles if it could be built cheaply. The ORMUS elements are much more abundant than their precious metal counterparts. For example, one of my colleagues claims that he could make metallic gold from m-state gold and sell it for a good profit if gold were selling for $5 per POUND! We are fairly certain that the ORMUS form of the precious metal elements is 10,000 times more abundant than the metallic form of these same elements.

Almost half of the electricity generated in the world is lost through transmission line heating. Superconductive transmission lines would not have this kind of line loss. Additionally they would enable a considerable amount of transmission line energy storage so that electricity could be generated at the most efficient times and used as needed.

The ORMUS elements have other properties which might help toward greenhouse gas emissions. Aircraft are significant contributors to greenhouse gases just because they operate high in the atmosphere. There is considerable evidence that the ORMUS elements could be used for magnetic levitation and possibly for anti-gravity levitation.

As m-state iridium is heated its weight literally fluctuates between 300 times heavier than normal and less than nothing. David Hudson illustrated this effect in several of the chart recordings that he provided with his patent. You can see these charts at:

I have done some work with this effect and have demonstrated superconductive magnetic levitation in my kitchen. You can a short GIF movie of this effect which was taken from a videotape at:

Superconductive magnetic levitation at room temperature would allow the use of magnetically levitated trains for rapid mass transport. Anti-gravity could replace jet fuel in air transport.

I think that either of these technologies would provide more benefit than harm but there would still be problems related to the spread of weedy species and the transport of goods ripped off from third world countries. In a sense it could make the consumer society more palatable because it would have less environmental impact.

Perhaps the greatest impact of the ORMUS elements is that they seem to be related to consciousness. They are clearly present in brain tissue in relatively large amounts and superconductive effects have been measured in the brain and reported in major scientific journals (references available on request).

Hundreds of folks have been eating the m-state elements for months or years. I have been eating them for a couple of years and I personally know a dozen other people who have been eating them for a year or more. These materials seem to have health benefits and some claim that they have "philosophical" benefits.

Some of the folks that have taken them for the longest claim that they are less violent than they used to be. Some also claim that they feel more in touch with nature and other people.

The health benefits could exagerate our effects on the planet by making more of us live longer. This is a significant problem that would have to be mitigated by a serious increase in personal responsibility in order to make it sustainable. I am not sure that such an improvement in one's ethics is guaranteed by the ingestion of these elements though some claim that it is.

I am afraid that this genie is already out of the bottle and much will depend on the spin we give it in making it more widely known. Since it is so easy to obtain these ORMUS elements, we cannot make ORMUS osmium batteries popular without making the other uses of these elements known.
