Love, Structure and Prayer
Many of the problems that we deal with in the world can be
traced to the structures that we have created and empowered to act on our behalf. We create these
structures, empower them and then they take on a life of their own. The structures we created become our
masters instead of our servants as we originally intended.
When people lost sight of the way to live
Came codes of love and honesty,
Learning came, charity came,
Hypocrisy took charge;
When differences weakened family ties
Came benevolent fathers and dutiful sons;
And when lands were disrupted and misgoverned
Came ministers commended as loyal.
~Lao Tzu
When we loose confidence in our ability to manifest what
we need, we build structures to provide for these needs. These structures can be buildings or they can be
institutions like corporations, governments or religions. Out of our fear we build these structures so that
they will endure without change to provide that which we no longer believe we can provide for
ourselves.
One of the primary characteristics of life is change.
Structure is created to resist change. When we think of changing structure we often think in terms of
creating new structures to change the old. This may result in two structures battling for control with
living things being the losers.
We saw this when a constitutional structure was created to
overcome royal and religious structures. Now we are seeing corporate structures working to take over the
constitutional structure. All of these structures ended up being suppressive.
At a certain point, many of the social and economic
structures we have built take on a sort of life of their own. They seek to perpetuate themselves by
cornering the market on certain of our needs. When these structures get very large and powerful a few of
them may try to totally control our access to food, energy, health care, shelter, clothing or free
choice.
Structure typically uses certain tactics to gain and
maintain control. Limitation and control of necessary resources is one of these tactics. By controlling
necessities for life, structure can gain control over us. Thus if a structure controls our access to food,
energy, health care, shelter, clothing or free choice that structure can effectively control us. On the
other hand, the more we are in control of our own source of supply in these areas the less power we will be
giving to structure.
Some scientific and religious structures would prefer to
have us believe that the nature of God, the universe and everything is essentially structured and
changeless. The structure of science tells us that immutable physical laws control our lives and that
scientific structure is necessary to bring us the benefits of food, health and energy. The structure of
religion tells us that we must believe only in one version of one book and that the religious structure
(church) must mediate any connection we might want to develop with God, the universe and everything. Both
structures foster these beliefs in order to obtain and maintain control.
Corporate structures tend to try to control us (their
"consumers") by threatening to take away those things which they provide and which they have taught us that
we cannot provide for ourselves. Structures use fear as their greatest ally.
As corporate, governmental and religious structures grow
very large and powerful they tend to loose track of the other needs of the people they were built to serve.
They also tend to maximize short term "profit" by "mining" resources without consideration of
sustainability. Supply lines tend to get longer, more interdependent and more fragile.
Our food supply capability is a good example of this. The
small, local, family farm has given way to large, distant corporate farms. These large farms are much more
dependent on petroleum for running equipment and for shipping food to the distant consumer. As nearby
petroleum is "mined" out, the supply lines for it grow longer and more difficult to support and defend. The
large corporate farms also become more and more dependent on chemical poisons and fertilizers to maintain
production levels because they have depleted ("mined") the mineral productivity of the soil.
As nearby soil is depleted we must go further and further
to find productive land. This same scenario has been repeated over and over by every city-based civilization
in the past. At some point the supply lines and profit margins are stretched so thin that the smallest
disruption can bring the entire structure to the ground. We saw something like this happen with the airline
industry after 9-11.
Structure is not alive and can become hostile to life. All
of the world's great spiritual teachers have opposed existing structures and suggested ways to change them.
They say that we do not need to believe that we are dependent on structures to supply our needs. We should
not serve structure; structure should serve us.
So, if building new structures is not the best way to
bring about change in old structures what are some good ways? The best way is to connect directly with God,
the universe and everything. Spiritual folks call this connection LOVE, scientists call it quantum coherence
or quantum non-locality. Regardless of what it is called the process involves improving our connection to
All That Is.
The ORMUS materials appear to be sort of an intermediate
stage between physical matter and non-physical spirit.
They can levitate (See:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/levitate.avi). They can disappear in one place and reappear in another. Puddles
of ORMUS water have been observed moving across the floor toward the nearest person.
Sharon Rose describes them thus:
"I believe the M-state is consciousness and that
it helps us to be more conscious of those things that are on the forefront of our inner life. It is the essence
that comes before matter. I theorize that whatever state we are in will be accentuated in the presence of the
M-state."
Our dependence on existing health care structures is sure
to be reduced as we learn to produce our own ORMUS materials. Many people have noted that the ORMUS
materials seem to facilitate physical healing. See some of these reports at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/reports.htm
There are also reports that these materials can form the
basis for devices that extract energy from the aether.
There is evidence that they are a "miracle" nutrient for
plants. The ORMUS materials might help us to produce more of our food locally by rebuilding soil
productivity. See some images of giant walnuts grown in a tree watered with m-state water at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/walnuts.htm
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/desc.htm
The ORMUS elements appear to be a great way to bring about
changes to existing structures by facilitating the love connection. It looks like they can also be used to
help us become less dependent on structure for food, health and energy.
When people talk about how geological, economic or social
disaster will come they are generally most afraid of how it will deplete their source of supply for those
things that they think they need. They do not realize that structure must change or it will stifle
life.
With ORMUS we have an opportunity to bring change to
structures without the disastrous disruption, which might otherwise accompany the destruction of these
structures.
I know we are in a time of great change but change does
not have to mean disaster. Those people who cooperate with their neighbors the best are more likely to
prosper in these times than those who have filled bunkers with food, gasoline and guns.
I think that the greatest thing that the ORMUS materials
will bring to the world is "instant karma". I have noticed that both my wants and my fears manifest much
more quickly as I become more and more saturated with ORMUS. This nearly instant feedback is helping me to
learn that I attract those things that I put my attention on. I much prefer to put my attention on how we
can build community and love in the world than to put my attention on fear of the disasters that might
result if we don't do this.
As we do build community and love in our neighborhoods we
will find that our dependence on structure diminishes. If we quit feeding these monsters they will wither
away in a quiet and natural process.
When we bring harm to others it can only be by ignoring
our connection to them through love. If we block the love connection the consequence will feel like
isolation. How could it be otherwise? If we isolate ourselves from the whole we will feel lonely. We can
overcome this loneliness in at least two different ways. I call these two ways the law of karma and the law
of grace. (Cayce used these terms too.) The compassionate universe is set up so that we eventually feel the
same feelings that we have brought to others. These feelings reveal our true unity.
pleasure and pain are merely surfaces
(one itself showing,itself hiding one)
life's only and true value neither is
love makes the little thickness of the coin
~E.E. Cummings
The law of karma means that we will feel the same feelings
we have brought to others. Each of us buys into this and each of us keeps score for ourselves because it is
in our self-interest to do so. If we ignore our connection to someone else by bringing them pain then this
connection will be revealed when we experience similar pain. This is the law of karma. We can only cease
from making this kind of division by choosing unity. (The world is divided into two kinds of people; those
who divide the world into two types of people and those who do not.)
The dove descending breaks the air
With flame of incandescent terror
Of which the tongues declare
The one discharge from sin and error.
The only hope, or else despair
Lies in the choice of pyre or pyre
To be redeemed from fire by fire.
Who then devised the torment? Love.
Love is the unfamiliar Name
Behind the hands that wove
The intolerable shirt of flame
Which human power cannot remove.
We only live, only suspire
Consumed by either fire or fire.
___________
And all shall be well and
All manner of thing shall be well
When the tongues of flame are in-folded
Into the crowned knot of fire
And the fire and the rose are one.
~T.S. Eliot
There is a less painful way to learn what others feel when
we ignore our connection to them. This is the law of grace. The application of the law of grace is the use
of conscious attention to learn empathy for the suffering of others and to apply this empathy in our
dealings with them. As this happens our need to keep score on ourselves and on others melts away.
This "keeping score" is called "judgment". Judge not, lest
you be judged is another way of stating the law of karma. The golden rule is another way of stating the law
of grace.
If we set up a resonance with one form of
fear--anger--another form of fear--pain--can be expected to echo back on the same wavelength.
If we define love as our connection to All That Is it will
clarify this discussion. It will further clarify this discussion if we define prayer as attending to
(putting our attention on) this love connection. The best and highest values in each of our hearts are
always connected with love. These values define our true nature. Love is who we are.
Love is the river that flows through each of us. Our fears
build dams across this river. We build these structures to extract power from the river or protect us from
the flood because we fear that we will freeze in the dark without the power and protection that these
structures provide. Fear blocks and diverts the flow of love. The structures we build need constant
maintenance to keep them from changing. All living things constantly change. Rigid structures are not very
alive.
We spend much of our time serving the structures we have
created. As I wrote earlier, these structures can be corporate, ideological, political, scientific or
physical. As long as the flow of our love is damned by structures we must spend our time maintaining the
structures because we believe that they protect or sustain us. In truth, the unimpeded flow of love is what
sustains us.
If we wish to remove the structures, which are damning our
love, we have many options. We can wish for a flood to blast through them. We can blow them out with
dynamite. Or we can steadily lower the level of the lake until the dam can be removed without doom to
everything downstream. We can lower the level of the lake by flowing more love through our hearts. One good
way to do this is to resonate our hearts to love through prayer (or meditation, or silence).
Fear, which damns the flow of love, is defined by what we
do not want. When our attention is on what we don't want we are resonating fear and the echo of this
resonance is the manifestation of those things that we hate--the structures that limit us.
Prayer--and its echo from All That Is--magically flows
love over, around and through the structures that we originally built to assuage our fears.
Time is the currency we can spend, either in flowing love
through our hearts with prayer, affection, kindness and generosity or in building structures to protect us
from what we fear. The more time we spend flowing love through our hearts the less time we have to spend on
resonating fear, anger, doom, poverty or pain.
In each second of time we have a choice to spend the next
second resonating love or not. Prayer helps us to become aware of this choice. It quiets the mind so that
the flow of love can become vivid and powerful in our hearts.

"Love is a Source of Life that has no end. Your name is
love, and your character is composed of all that you have loved, all who have loved you, all who have shared
your life, and everything you have brought into existence through your love. That is who you are. You will
never be separated from that love. Love is your immortality. Structure creates the illusion that your life
has been cut into segments of time and space or suspended elsewhere in improbable situations. Only the
dominance of structure can ever separate you from the totality of who you are. The power of the Holy Spirit
is that it can shatter the illusion of separation and restore the soul to its simple wholeness. In the
presence of the Holy Spirit, you are one with your Creator, and all that you are is rejoined in personal
integrity. Wholeness is Holy, wholeness is healing. That is the essence of all miracles physical, mental,
financial, and social. Whatever has been torn apart comes back together into a state of wholeness. Love
supports wholeness, and wholeness supports love. Through that common bond, love can heal
anything."
I commented about the Biblical incident where a woman
touched His garment and was healed. He replied, "She touched my love and was healed."
~From Love Without End - Jesus Speaks by Glenda
Green
Though our original intentions often come from love, they
can get distorted when we scheme to implement them.
If I intend to be loving and helpful this is a fairly
clean loving intent. If I decide that this must happen in a certain way then things start to get
muddy.
Each of us is unique in our love. Our unique love is what
distinguishes each of us from one another. Love is who we are. This love is our heart's desire; that which
we most want to manifest in our lives. The difficulties of manifestation come from trying to figure out ways
to manifest this love. This part is not our job. Our job is attending to our heart's desire. The rest of the
universe is responsible for manifestation of our heart's desire.
The heart desires peace but the mind tries to think of
ways to bring peace about. Peace is rest but the mind must DO something to justify itself. This creates
things like "peacekeeping forces in Bosnia". These kinds of contradictions do not arise when we remember
that attending to our heart's desire is our job and manifesting our heart's desire is the job of the rest of
the universe.
"For sixty years I have been forgetful, every
minute, but not for a second has this flowing toward me stopped or slowed. I deserve nothing. Today I recognize
that I am the guest the mystics talk about. I play this living music for my host. Everything today is for the
host."
~Jelaluddin Rumi - 14th century Sufi mystic and
poet
We ask ourselves how is the love we send to others
different from the love that flows to us from the Source of All Love. It is the same original source of love
but there is a difference. When I hear of a wonderful new product or idea from one person I wonder if it is
all it is cracked up to be. When I hear the same glowing description from someone else I start to believe.
When everyone I meet points to the same path I am almost compelled to follow.
There are examples of people who are so immersed in
following their heart's desire--their love--that they have an inordinately strong influence on others. The
example I gave previously comes to mind; the woman who touched Jesus' garment and was healed. The following
quote gives another illustration of this:
Barefooted and naked of breast, I mingle
with
the people of the
world.
My clothes are ragged and dust-laden,
and
I am ever
blissful.
I use no magic to extend my life;
Now, before me, the dead trees become
alive.
Comment: Inside my gate, a thousand sages do not know me.
The beauty of my garden is invisible. Why should one search for the footprints of the patriarchs? I go to
the market place with my wine bottle and return home with my staff. I visit the wineshop and the market, and
everyone I look upon becomes enlightened.
