| Low Flow/Psi M-State Water Trap
Concentrator.
This trap works very well where one is
trying to concentrate trap water from a primary M-State water trap and Flow/PSI is reduced. It will be
installed on a Reverse Osmosis water system that has been fed water with a high M-State (enhanced by Salt Lake
Salt & City water that is a combination of hard Well water and Colorado River water) and where the
membrane filter unit has been modified to further concentrate the M-State in the water. Rejection rate will be
set to less than 10 to 1 by adjustment of the waste out valve and restricted M-State out through 1/4 inch
fitting. It has been tested with three other water trap systems as the second and or third stage, in this case
it will be the third stage. It is the BEST concentrator of M-State that I have tested where low Flow/Psi
is used, it is the 4th revision of it's kind and uses 6 Rare Earth Magnets which if they were used to lift
steel, would lift more than 600Lbs. Both North and South Poles are used. No vortex effects are used in the
trap, only flow.
Ready To Install except for changing the M-state out and
Inlet fittings.
Total time to build 8hrs; finding parts 9hrs. Test Hoses and Fittings are in the
Picture.
Inlet and Waste Out Pieces before starting.
Note reducer coupling 4th from left was changed due to
being the wrong size inside. These parts are before cutting and grinding modifications shown
later
.
Most of the tools used; Note drimel is a 30,000 rpm model.
very high speed is needed to cut the magnets and grind the plastic without loading up the cutter, stones &
TO
PREVENT shattering magnets.
Even with practice 5 rare earth magnets were destroyed and
blood was sacrificed to get the job done.

GENERAL GRIND SHAPES BEFORE FINAL FITTING TO "T".
1 1/2 "T" fitting M-State out end. NOTE GRIND
SHAPE.
1 1/2 "T" fitting Waste Water out end. NOTE GRIND SHAPE.
INSIDE "T" TOP IS M-STATE OUT.
TOP IS WASTE OUT.
TOP IS M-STATE OUT. ANOTHER ANGLE.
Q-TIPS AND TOOTH PICKS ARE USED TO HOLD THE MAGNETS IN
PLACE UNTIL THE EPOXY GLUE IS DRY.
  DRY & READY FOR ASSEMBLY.
THE WASTE OUT VALVE ASSY. NOTE 8MM FINE THREAD BOLT USED
TO PLUG THE GAUGE HOLE. THIS VALVE IS PREFERABLE TO A PVC BALL VALVE DUE TO THE ABILITY TO FINELY
REGULATE THE FLOW AND IS AIR AND WATER TIGHT.
CENTER PART OF WASTE OUT MAGS IS CUT PARTIALLY OFF AT AN ANGLE
AND SIDES ARE GROUND AT WIDEST PLACES, AND COVERED WITH EPOXY GLUE BEFORE GLUING IN PLACE ON WASTE OUT
FITTING.
WASTE OUT & INLET WITH DEFLECTOR MAGS IN "T"
FITTING.
FINAL PRODUCT IS GLUED OUTSIDE WITH PLUMBERS GOOP TO SEAL DUE TO THE
DIFFICULTY IN TRYING TO ASSEMBLE WITH PVC GLUE (since all fittings are full insert flush).
EXTREME CARE AND PATIENCE ALONG WITH CRAFTSMANSHIP IS NEEDED TO BUILD THIS TRAP. IT TOOK
ME 4 TIMES AS LONG TO BUILD THIS TRAP AS COMPARED TO OTHER TRAPS, BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT.
