Iridium
Levitation
byBarry Carter
I have been researching the "levitation"
effects associated with ORMUS iridium. These effects were first associated with ORMUS iridium by David
Hudson, though I was already familiar with them from my friend Jim's experiences back in
1989.
In 1990 Jim stated telling me about the
"fly ash" that would levitate away from his hands whenever he would reach for it. Here are transcripts of
some of the things that Jim said about this "fly ash":
Jim: …when it evaporated and dried it
turned into fly ash.
Barry: Why do you call it fly
ash?
Jim: Because whenever you'd reach for it,
it would fly away.
Barry: Where did it
move?
Jim: Anyplace it had to. Up the side of a jar, out of a pan. Unless it was wet you couldn't handle
it.
_______________________
Well, yeah, it was kind of a flake. Little
flakes that came off of wedges between the acrylic in the carbon air cell. We had some of those in a jar
and you would reach for it and they would move to the other side of the jar and stuff. Especially in a
garage wall lined with tools. You know iron tools hanging everywhere. It was pretty
alive.
Barry: What do you mean by “pretty
alive”?
Jim: It moved a lot. By itself.

“when the
charcoal was damp we could pan it out, we could separate it and we could work with it. When it was dry, it was out of there. I mean it was out of there!”
This particular property of the material
that Jim experienced was one of the most intriguing properties for me and Jim. When we heard David Hudson
speak of this levitation phenomena as being a property of ORMUS iridium in
his Portlandlecture and workshop on
July 28-29, 1995, this was the clincher that convinced us
that Jim was working with the same stuff.
Jim was also quite reassured to hear
that:
"primarily
rhodium and iridium are the elements that are in your body right now. And that literally they resonance
connect and literally flow the light of life perpetually in your body. And around your body you have a
non polar magnetic field which is called the Meissner field or they refer to it as the
aura."
In his first Dallaslecture, David Hudson said that typical
superconductive magnetic levitation is not what happened to his material:
"Oh, when we make it to the monoatomic state we hydrogen reduce it, we oxidize it, hydrogen reduce it and then we
anneal away the hydrogen. In the annealing with the hydrogen it goes snow white. When it's in that snow
white state, under an inert gas atmosphere and we cool it down, you can actually take your hand and run
it about 6 inches under the tube, you know a long distance away from it, and the material flies around
inside the tube. And yet if you take a magnet and run it 6 inches under the tube, nothing happens. And
yet you put the magnet down and put your hand back and it flies around again. And what it is, it's the
subtle magnetic field of your hand which your body, I don't know what..., does anybody know what the
magnetic field of the body is about 6 inches away?"
(You can read more about the questions
that this raises about why David Hudson's patent was denied at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/denial.htm )
Hudson's suggestion that ORMUS iridium was a
significant mineral in the body (especially brain tissue) also indicated to us that it must be quite
common in nature. Later, in his Portland"workshop", Hudsonsaid:
"This little zero point frequency I showed
you between the positron and the electron; if you follow that right up the electromagnetic spectrum, it
agrees with the molecular frequency of hydrogen dioxide, or water. So there is an affinity for this material and water. That's why it is normally taken in water. When you come to understand that your body is, in fact, mainly
water. That, literally, this material when you distill water
it distills with the water as the oridide, the iridide, the ruthidide. Just like chlorine. And so if you distill water thinking you are getting high purity water,
it goes with the water. And it literally changes the bond
angles of the water. That one iridium atom controls 56
waters of hydration around itself. And all the bond angles
of all 56 waters are altered when iridium is present. I
haven't carefully studied the research work of people working with water but I strongly suspect that
their water isn't completely pure and they are finding that the bond angles can be changed. There is something else besides H2O in the water."
This was an incredible revelation! David
Hudson believed that ORMUS iridium was even in distilled water! This means that ORMUS iridium would even
be in water vapor in the air.
In early 1997 I learned about the
gentleman we call the Essene and got to visit him on May 18, 1997. Here is a transcript of a conversation
that we had about ORMUS iridium:
The Essene: Iridium m-state, that's the
one that Hudsonlikes to play with and I do
too. Hudsonmade arrangements for me to go to a flying
saucer meeting. And what they did, they took a table and put this foam plastic with m-state iridium
bonded in the foam over the top of the table. Then they put another table upside down over that. And they
put 300 lbs. of barbells on it. You could walk up and put your hand under the bottom table and the top
table would float away. The Meissner field in your body is enough more to make that top table
float.
Barry: Jim got a material he called "fly
ash" because it would fly away when he reached for it. It still does today inside its
bottle.
The Essene: It's m-state iridium. It does
that. When it's in metal form it's the heaviest metal on earth. When it's in the m-state it's the
lightest, in classic form.
_______________________
When I took Jim to meet the Essene
on August 19-21,
1999he described how he had made some
levitating disks using ORMUS iridium:
Barry: What is the process for getting
m-state iridium into a levitating disc?
The Essene: First you make up your m-state
iridium fresh. And you mix it into ceramic clay. I use porcelain clay. I mix it very, very thoroughly.
The idea of annealing it is to spread the iridium molecules out so that they are even. Because any place
where they are clustered they lose their spin. I anneal it in a toaster oven or a cupelling furnace. As you anneal it they push apart from each other and spread out
evenly. This is the whole idea of annealing it. Iridium will only work if it is set in something that is
holding it apart like an egg crate.

I'll tell you a story that you may be
interested in. Nikola Tesla got a group of scientists together and rented MadisonSquareGardensin between fight nights. They had the ring
set up and the chairs, etc. All the scientists were filing in to hear the lecture when this little kid
came in over their heads riding a snow saucer. He flew all around over the audience and then finally
settled down in the ring. Then Tesla stood up and said, "This concludes the demonstration for the night.
Thank you, gentlemen". Not a single one of those scientists asked Tesla how
that thing flew.
M-state iridium is a gravitational shield.
It won't allow the gravitational force to penetrate it. I don't really know why. There is no force field
of any kind. I went to Ashlandto listen to David Hudson. Right after
that I went to a UFO meeting in California. Now this wasn't just a bunch of phonies.
It was scientific people. The lecture was in an auditorium. I paid real good attention. For the
demonstration they took a table like this and laid a sheet of plastic over it that was about ½" thick.
They turned another table upside down over this table and put a whole pile of barbell weights on it. Then
they had people from the audience come up and put their hands underneath the table and the top table
would float away. The plastic sheet had unannealed m-state iridium in it. It
was the peoples' auras that were actually picking the top table up.
Barry: This is the principle that Jim's
magnetic trap works under. It expels the m-state iridium, probably.
Jim: You spin the water over a magnetic
field. The mono levitates against it and you pull it out with a wicking material that is
hydrophobic.
The Essene: Same thing.
_______________________
The Essene: Iridium m-state is a neat metal. You ought to play with it
sometime. I take iridium and turn it into m-state. It's not a stable m-state,
it won't stick around very long. Six months to eight months, it'll go back in at that time if you have a
quart jar of it. But while it's in m-state I take and I mix it with porcelain clay. And I mix it all up
like [?].
Barry: How much
porcelain?
The Essene: Just enough to bind it. I stir
it up real good and put it out and dry it. Then I put it in the furnace and start annealing it. On the
8th or 9th annealing you open the furnace door and it will be setting in the middle of the furnace. Yes,
the annealing temperature is about 800C. Not too high. The gravitational field will not go through that
disc any more. Neither will an electric or magnetic field. Alright, you spin it and there is no energy
force that can penetrate it. If you have 2 discs spinning with a wire down the middle of them and a lamp
connected at the other end, the lamp cannot be energized. The electricity will not flow in that
wire.
Barry: Jim was using ozone on some mining
waste. He was getting a lot of gold and some clear snot in the bottom of the whole thing. It was m-state.
When he dried it out in the dark it would float away.
Jim: We put it in bottles as a joke. We
called it "fly ash". It would levitate in the jar. You reach for it and it was move away from the side of
the jar you were closest to.
The Essene: If you took that and mixed it
with porcelain ceramic before it goes to hell… In 6 to 9 months it's dead.
David Hudson also said that his "annealed"
ORMUS iridium would not levitate for more than a few months. He also claimed that ORMUS iridium was the
second most abundant ORMUS element in his ore. He said that it was about 33% of the ORMUS in his ore
compared to the m-rhodium which was nearly 50%.
The Essene also claimed that ORMUS iridium
is quite common in nature. He said that it is approximately 6-9% of dried Pacific Oceanwater precipitate. If you consider this
relative abundance of ORMUS iridium in ocean water along with Hudson's claim that ORMUS iridium would go with
the water vapor when it evaporates off the ocean, you might predict that ORMUS iridium would be
relatively abundant in dew collected near the ocean. This prediction was apparently confirmed by Michael
Burbury starting back in 2006 when he started making the alchemical "gur" from dew water. He eventually
(after a multi month process) got a white powder from the dew that would fly away from his
hands.

levitating white powders from David Hudson, Jim and Michael Burbury at:

Subject: Re: [ORMUS] NEED
ADVICE
David Hudson described this kind of thing
happening, while he was doing thermo-gravimetric analyses (TGA), in several of his lectures. David
Hudson's references and the TGA disappearance probably were all related to the white powder of iridium.
See the figures from his patent at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/patents/figures.htm
Notice that in the TGA figures 8-17 there
is the following legend in the upper left corner of each heating and cooling cycle chart--IRIH for
IRIdium Heating and IRIC for IRIdium Cooling.
Also notice that in his patent he only describes doing the TGA on the m-iridium. He does not make any
claim that the m-gold has these same properties.
A scientist named August replicated some
of Hudson's experiments with m-iridium in a
Perkin Elmer TGA7 Thermogravimetric Analyzer at a
major university in 2002. He made this m-iridium from metal using Hudson's patented method. First he "annealed"
his m-iridium in a Lindberg/Blue tube furnace. For a picture of one of these tube furnaces
see:
http://www.pacificcombustion.net/manufacturer/images/lindberg/TubeFurnace.jpg
Then he used the TGA to measure weight
changes as described in Hudson's patent. You can see an image of the TGA
setup he used at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/tga.jpg
Here is his description of the TGA process
he used on the m-iridium:
"Our PerkinElmer TGA-7 was able to show
that there are unusual transition states during long term annealing under hydrogen and argon, indicating
that the atom can be excited to strong diamagnetic states. In fact strong enough to produce results
indicating that the sample had lost 200% of its starting weight. Obviously the device is not calibrated
to deal with this kind of field event. In the screen capture from the 24, 25 and 26th thermal cycle,
after an initial induction period, the material acquiesces into a regular thermal pattern, well below the
original sample starting weight."
He sent me an image of the screen showing
this thermal pattern described above and I have uploaded it to:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/wtchange.jpg
August also made some "gold glass". You
can see a picture of it here:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/transparentgold.jpg
As far as I know, the gold glass did not
exhibit any superconductive effects.
He said that the m-gold powder was weakly
diamagnetic and became more so as it approached ambient temperature in SQUID testing. In another form it
was significantly attracted to magnetic fields.
This diamagnetism was not strong enough to
levitate the white powder visibly away from a magnet like the grey powder levitated away from the magnet
in my video of the m-gold Jim made using ozone.
Here is the link to a scanning electron
microscope image of August's white powder:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/image24.jpg
He described this image
thus:
"What you are seeing are bound state spheres of monatomic gold regions electrostatically bound into the beautiful material that it is....."
August told me that the white powder of
iridium jumped away from his hand in a way which suggested an electrostatic response. August sent me a
short video of the "annealed" white powder of iridium first attracting to his hand and then being
repelled from his hand. August says that this looks like a static electricity effect but cannot rule out
the possibility that it might be a Meissner effect. This matches Hudson's description of the behavior of his
m-iridium. Hudsondid not provide any evidence that this
could happen with gold. You can watch a short video of this effect to:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/StaticIridium.wmv
I have some ORMUS iridium that I got from
rawfood.com a year or so ago. When I put this m-iridium in a petrie dish it also exhibits a similar static electric effect of moving away from
the petrie dish when I rub it with my finger. Here is a picture of this
product:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/m-iridium.jpg
I do not know how this product was
made.
Above I quoted August as saying that he
ran the TGA on the m-iridium and measured a 200% decrease in the weight of his sample after "annealing"
it using over twenty "annealing" cycles in the tube furnace. He could not say what the cause of the
weight changes was but speculated that it might be some kind of Meissner effect from the
m-iridium.
August is a professional scientist and
does not confuse speculation with fact. He did note that at a certain point he could no longer see the
m-iridium sample in the TGA but he could not say whether it became transparent, went into an invisible
gas state or went elsewhere.
You can find a picture of the "annealed"
m-rhodium, m-iridium and m-gold that August made at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/white-m-powder.jpg
You can see pictures of his gold solution
at various stages of his process at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/gold_transformation.jpg
David Hudson and August have both said
that the "annealed" m-iridium powder quits jumping away from your hand after a week or two. If the
jumping is a static electricity effect this would make sense since the super dry powder would be more
responsive to static electricity while it is very dry out of the tube furnace and would become less
responsive to static electric effects as it gained moisture from the atmosphere.
I made a video of a powder that Jim made
from gold which levitates away from a magnetic field. This behavior is a much better match to a
postulated superconductive levitation effect than that of Hudson's m-iridium but it is not conclusive
evidence of superconductivity either.
All of this brings up questions about
certain historic stories of levitation. In order to clarify these questions it is important to list some
of the properties that have been claimed for ORMUS iridium by David Hudson and the Essene. These
speculated properties are:
·
It is common in living
tissue.
·
It is in all water
vapor.
·
It is quite abundant in certain rock
source materials.
·
It levitates when spun in a ceramic
disk.
·
It levitates when "annealed" eight or more
times.
·
It becomes a permanent levitation
substance when it is "annealed" into an "egg crate" style matrix form.
·
It responds to electrostatic
fields.
Michael Burbury's experiences also suggest
that his dew powder responds to electrostatic fields.
Let's see how these properties might apply
to historic reports of levitation.
In his book The Alchemy Key, Stuart
Nettleton wrote:
“Jewish Midrashim commentaries describe how the Ark of the Covenant levitated and carried along
some of the people who were supposed to be carrying it.”
In The Alchemy Key, Stuart also describes
how:
“if an ordinary
person approaches the Arkthere may be a collapse of flux that
creates voltage and leads to a bolt of lightning. This
phenomenon gave rise to the practice of tying a rope around the High Priest's foot so he could be dragged
away if hurt by an electrical discharge from the Ark.”
The Bible says that the manna from heaven
was stored in the Ark:
Hebrews 9:4
Which had the golden censer, and the ark
of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had
manna
Like Michael Burbury's levitating powder,
this manna was a solid residue which came from the dew:
Exodus 16:13-15
And it came to pass, that at even the
quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. And when the
dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small
as the hoar frost on the ground. And when the children of Israelsaw it, they said one to another, It is
manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses
said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to
eat.
The flying carpet stories appear to
describe similar ORMUS related properties. Here is a note that I posted to the ORMUS forum a few months

Subject: [ORMUS] Flying
Carpets
Dear Friends,
During one of my breaks, while giving my
workshop in Canberra, Australia, I was handed a paper printout of a web
page which described the history of the flying carpet. This printout had the following section
highlighted:
In the Ben Sherira chronicle, certain passages describe the workings of a flying carpet.
Unfortunately, much of the vocabulary used in these parts is indecipherable, so little has been
understood about their method of propulsion.
What is understood is that a flying carpet
was spun on a loom like an ordinary carpet; the difference lay in the dyeing process. Here, the artisans
had discovered a certain clay, 'procured from mountain springs and untouched by human hand', which, when
superheated at 'temperatures that exceeded those of the seventh ring of hell' in a cauldron of boiling
Grecian oil, acquired anti-magnetic properties.
Now the Earth itself is a magnet, and has
trillions of magnetic lines crossing it from the North to the South Pole. The scientists prepared this
clay and dyed the wool in it before weaving it on a loom.
So, when the carpet was finally ready, it
pulled itself away from the Earth and, depending on the concentration of clay used, hovered a few feet or
several hundred feet above the ground.
Propulsion went along the magnetic lines,
which acted like aerial rails. Although they were known to the Druids in Englandand the Incas in South America, only recently are physicists beginning
to rediscover the special properties of these so-called 'fey-lines'.
It sounds like the clay in this story
would be a good candidate for being a high ORMUS source.
I did a search on some of the words in the
passage above and found the following web link where the entire document is reproduced:
http://keelynet.com/gravity/manflight.htm
The web page above also has a good
reference to the flying platform of Victor Grebennikov who wrote a chapter in his book about a flying
platform that he used to collect insects. You can read this chapter of Grebennikov's book
at:
http://www.keelynet.com/greb/greb.htm
orat:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/wg/Grebennikov/Grebennikov-Eng.htm
Both flying devices have at least two
things in common. Both use a mysterious substance from natural sources and both have a repeating shape or
pattern that may contribute to the levitation effect.
For this reason and other reasons I am
quite intrigued by recent discussions of how "shape power devices" might enhance ORMUS
effects.
While August's demo of ORMUS iridium
jumping away from his finger is a pretty good illustration of this property, I have a better demo that I
did a couple days ago.
In about 2005 I got a small bottle of a
product called "Manna Monoatomic Iridium from www.rawfood.com. You can see a
picture of this bottle that I took yesterday at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/iridium.jpg
I have eaten a few bits of this product
but most of it I have saved for reference purposes. I have a few bits of it in a plastic petrie dish and two days ago I took a video of it jumping away
from my fingers. You can download and watch this video at:
http://www.OrmusMinerals.com/Iridium&Fingers.wmv
I am not sure how this ORMUS iridium was
made. It does not look like August's product or like Michael Burbury's product. I would guess that the
apparent structure of the particles helps to keep them stable so that they are still "active" after
sitting in my office for almost four years.
You can read more about my favorite
hypotheses concerning the physics of levitation at:
