It took most of the night, but I finished a prototype second stage vortex trap that runs off the output of our primary Sink trap.  When working, oil can be seen floating on top of the water in this trap as it is "Skimmed" off the top with the output water.  The input is at a tangent to the inside of the 2 inch pipe allowing for  a  visible gentle swirling.  Input is at the center of the tube.  I placed 16 of the RS magnets on the side and two under it just above the waste out control valve. We have noticeably more oil in the water, but just how much will have to be tested using an extraction method and then weighing or measuring volume.  This is really quite interesting and enjoyable.  Please do not post this pic as it shows my "Unshielded Grinder" in the immediate vicinity.  Had to take the shield off to enable grinding some curves and have not put it back on yet.  Using one in this manner is somewhat dangerous.
 

I did keep a list of materials and did some photos with the new camera during construction.  Unfortunately the flash overpowered the white on some pics but they are still usable.  Just not the quality I prefer.
 

I will construct another one during the day and re-document how to do it.  This will provide a more professional appearance to the project.  These photos are just to document what I did for my records.  I have similar shots of the Sink trap construction.

Below is a shot of a glass of water from the second stage output.  The suspended M S is very intense using our focused beam light.  Again,  I have a problem with close up focus with the new camera.  I will keep it up til I learn how to control this.  It looked very good on the LCD view screen on back.  The pic,  however,  is out of focus.

This is just to show ya what we are up to at the present time.  Penny is working on the flower web page experiment material.  She has several days done and wants to know how you would like it sent.  As HTML, or as a .DOC for MS Word.  She is concerned that if it is sent as HTML the text and pics may get scrambled creating another mess for you.
